I Won! Best Wedding Photographer in Pembrokeshire

What a whirlwind of a day! I’m absolutely over the moon to share some incredible news – I’ve been awarded Best Wedding Photographer in Pembrokeshire!

The award ceremony was held in Swansea, so it was a bit of a road trip adventure. My partner, Dai, and I hopped in the car all dressed up that afternoon, fueled by equal parts wine and caffeine.

We made it to Swansea with time to spare, which was just enough for get a coffee. The event itself was such a buzz – meeting other talented creatives from across Wales and soaking up all the amazing energy in the room. When they called my name, I think I just sat there stunned for a second before Dai nudged me and whispered, “That’s you!”

Standing up there to accept the award felt surreal. As a wedding photographer, my passion has always been capturing those genuine, moments between people. This recognition? It’s not just about me. It’s a reflection of all the amazing couples who have trusted me to document their big day. Without their trust, there wouldn’t be a story to tell through my lens.

After the event, Dai and I hit the road back home. We were too excited to even feel tired! The drive back was full of chatter about the night, reliving the moment my name was called, and, of course, brainstorming where the award will go in our home. (Spoiler alert: it’s already got a prime spot!)
