With over 15 years of experience photographing people and events and a Master’s degree in Documentary Photography, I bring a calm, confident approach that helps the day run smoothly without feeling staged or directed.
I’ve worked across both intimate weddings and large celebrations, so I’m used to reading the room, adapting quickly, and knowing when to step in and when to step back, always focusing on real people, real moments and real atmosphere rather than posing or performance.
I also take on a limited number of weddings each year so every couple gets proper attention and support before and after their day.
ON THE DAY
Every wedding is different, but busy wedding days are where I really thrive.
Some are quiet woodland ceremonies with close family. Some are lively celebrations full of music and movement. Some are windswept coastal days with changing light and space to breathe.
Rather than directing your day, I photograph what naturally unfolds within it. At the same time, when it comes to portraits I guide things gently so they feel relaxed and natural rather than staged. I spent over 10 years working in photo studios, so I know exactly how to help people feel comfortable and what to avoid to keep portraits feeling like you.
That means you will receive photographs full of real laughter, unexpected hugs, atmosphere, and the small moments you might not even notice happening, basically all the bloody good stuff.
