Some sessions are just all about keeping it simple – no fuss, no posing, just kids being kids and families making memories. That’s exactly how this shoot at Whitesands Beach went. We met up just after school, around 4 pm, when the light was soft, and the tide was coming in fast. There wasn’t much beach left, but that didn’t stop us from making the most of it.

Stan was straight into it, flying his toy plane across the sand and running around with that endless energy kids seem to have. It was one of those evenings where there’s no plan, just going with the flow. As the waves crept closer, we set up a little fire and toasted marshmallows – Stan was all about the marshmallows and would have happily stayed there all night eating them if he could.

The whole session was relaxed, with plenty of space for just enjoying the moment. No stiff posing, no awkward smiles – just real family time captured as it happened. As we packed up, Stan was already excited for the pizza waiting at home – the perfect end to a beachy, adventure-filled afternoon.
